Overview
The Department for Education, the owners of the matrix Standard for information, advice and guidance services, require matrix Standard to align with the Ofsted Inspection Framework so that organisations can see how government policy connects.
This interactive webinar will help training providers to develop a deeper more granular understanding of the DfE requirements for good CEIAG within our FE, Skills and HEI sectors. The webinar will focus on the EIF and inspections of training providers including the clear themes from inspection reports for good practice and top tips.
Objectives
This webinar will cover:
- Targeting the right learner groups through effective Curriculum Planning and Strategy and for providing quality careers, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG, to learners from the onboarding stage onwards, placing the right learner on the right programme and level, reducing early withdrawals due to inappropriate choice made, and increasing learner achievement and success;
- Embedding and contextualising CEIAG into the curriculum, including clarifying goals and expectations of learners and keeping the learners ‘onboard’ during programmes;
- Supporting learners in their individualised learning journey so that they can successfully achieve their career goals and successfully move into their next steps, appropriate destination, along with capturing destination and progress for analysis and reporting.
