Governance arrangements for apprenticeship and adult learning training providers
Join expert presenter Maureen Deary for a half-day virtual workshop on expected practice in governance arrangements for 2024.
The in-depth session will focus on what good governance practice looks like
for apprenticeship and adult training providers. We will explore arrangements from the EIF and inspection lens and how this meets the expectations of the sector.
The workshop aims to highlight current governance practice and how this looks in both a large national provider compared with a small niche sector provider and meeting EIF requirements and sector expectations.
Attendees will also benefit from peer-to-peer support through group activities to share what is working well in their organisation, identifying strengths and areas for improvements using the EIF.
Objectives
By the end of this session, attendees will have a good understanding of:
- The current practice in the workplace learning sector for both large and small training providers.
- The EIF requirements and KCSIE legislation and what these mean for governance board members for 2024.
- The different governance models and be able to see where improvements can be made within their own governance board profile and functions.
