June 20 @ 2:00 pm 3:00 pm

As part of FIN’s ongoing commitment to excellence and improvement in education, FIN’s Policy and Research Group (FPRG) brings together dedicated educators who are passionate about addressing the sector’s most pressing challenges.
Mission:
Mobilising research from the collective expertise and innovative spirit of FIN members and inspection analysis to provide solutions for the FE sector to influence policy and drive meaningful change.
What We Do:
1. Action Research: Central to the groups purpose is conducting rigorous action research. We dive deep into the real issues facing educators today, systematically investigating these challenges to develop practical, evidence-based solutions.
2. Collaborative Discussions: We believe in the power of collaboration. Through regular meetings, workshops, and forums, our members engage in rich, solution-focused discussions. This collaborative approach ensures that diverse perspectives are considered and innovative ideas are cultivated.
3. Policy Influence: The insights and solutions generated by our action research are used to advocate for policy changes. FIN members in this group actively work to evidence the formal reporting FIN will submit to influence educational policy, ensuring that the voices and expertise of educators are heard at the highest levels.
Our Vision:
We envision a future where educators are empowered with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to overcome challenges and enhance the learning experience for all students. By harnessing the collective power of our network, we aim to create an educational environment that is responsive, dynamic, and continuously improving.
