Overview
We all roll our eyes when we hear the word PowerPoint, but it can be a key resource to help us build knowledge and transfer skills when used well.
Learn key techniques in building high impact slides which will transform your learner experience.
This session will introduce practical tools for you to apply straight away to your slides and use of PowerPoint. We all cringe when we see slides built with 1990s clip art, a reliance on text and bullet points, and bland, information heavy slides.
You don’t have to be a graphic designer to create great slides which drive knowledge retention and learner enjoyment.
- Understand how to use PowerPoint slides for activities and interaction on Zoom;
- Explain the importance of colour, RGB codes and branding;
- Describe how to build high quality slides which don’t look like they’ve been created in PowerPoint;
- Understand the importance of building slides which reduce cognitive overload.
By attending this session and implementing the learning you will make key improvements to your design strategy and enable trainers to deliver a more impactful and fun experience in both online and in-person live learning events.
