Ironhack announces “steps for scholarships” partnership with Sweatcoin

Scheme will provide £70,000 of tech education in exchange for steps tracked by popular wellness app

Tech bootcamp specialists Ironhack and fitness tracking app Sweatcoin have teamed up to offer users £70,000 worth of tech education.

This new drive to connect wellness to education allows Sweatcoin users to rack up steps that they can swap for courses that could boost their career prospects.

Courses on offer include web development, data analytics, UX/UI design and cybersecurity. And Sweatcoin users don’t need tech experience to apply. All they need to do is earn 30 sweatcoins (30K steps) which they can then exchange for £1,380 towards an Ironhack course (subject to passing all the admissions requirements). There are 50 places available for 2022.

Ironhack has already helped over 10,000 students around the world graduate with new skills and careers in tech and it aims to reduce the gender and digital skills gap.
