Brock to offer online and on campus professional qualifications
Brockenhurst College has partnered with Mindful Education to deliver a range of professionally accredited courses through a mix of online and on campus learning from September 2022.
The College will offer a Level 2 Accounting programme, along with Bookkeeping programmes at Level 2 and Level 3.
All three qualifications are accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), which makes them well-respected and highly recognised.
Brock will also offer a Level 3 Principles of Management and Leadership programme and a Level 5 Management and Leadership programme.
Both management courses are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), which again makes them well-respected and highly recognised.
As part of the learning experience, students will be able to access high-quality video lessons with motion graphics that bring concepts to life.
This will be backed up by regular, face-to-face lessons with a college tutor and fellow learners, giving students the benefit of both teacher support and peer support.
Applicants without a Level 3 qualification can apply to study the Level 3 course free of charge under the government’s National Skills Fund initiative.
Successful learners will be able to present themselves as suitable candidates for a range of roles in finance or management.
Head of Curriculum for Adult Learning and Leisure, Ellie Winfield, said: “We are pleased to be partnering with Mindful Education to provide these accredited learning opportunities.
“These new courses are designed to deliver meaningful progression prospects, and meaningful progression is exactly what we are focussed on enabling our learners to achieve from day one.”
