Harry Redknapp supports app to keep self-employed on the ball
Former football manager and player Harry @Redknapp has spoken up for the small business community by showing support for a new app to help with the daily tasks involved with running their business.
As a successful manager for teams such as Birmingham City West Ham United, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur, Redknapp says “Managing a football team’s a bit like running your own business – there’s always loads to do, there’s never enough time to do it all and it’s hard graft!”
That’s why, according to Harry, it’s important for the self-employed to have the right support and why he’s a fan of the jobmate app. “It prepares quotes, controls your stock, helps you manage jobs, and raises your invoices… you can even call in a subbie.”
Designed by Wolverhampton-based software experts jobmate Ltd, the app helps self-employed, sole traders and small business owners effectively manage and improve the performance of their day-to-day business activities.
Plus, say the designers, with the Government’s new MTD (Making Tax Digital) tax submission regulations due to take effect from April 6th, 2022, all self-employed business owners with a taxable income above £10,000 will have to submit digital records for all business income and expenses. Any tax submission, which is not digital, will not comply and will not be accepted by HMRC. Therefore, says jobmate, the new app is the perfect solution.
“jobmate is an all-in-one business management tool,” says jobmate founder and CEO Chris Dalton.
“By working closely with numerous small business owners to find out how an app of this sort could best serve their day-to-day needs, we came up with a digital solution which not only cuts out time-consuming paperwork, but also saves time and money. All administration including quotes, diary notes, stock control and invoices is literally in one place, making every job easier to manage and giving time back to otherwise busy business owners.”
The handy app is available as an affordable pay-as-you-go monthly subscription and is popular not least because of its easy operation. “It’s so simple, even I can use it!” Adds Harry RedKnapp. “Download the app and you’re up and running in less time than it takes Sandra to make me a brew!”
