Barnsley College’s Talent United to host a free online Christmas networking event

Talent United, the employer engagement initiative run by @BarnsleyCollege, will host a free online festive networking event for local businesses on Thursday 3 December from 4.00pm to 5.30pm.

The Talent United team will be dishing-up informal Christmas fun which will feature guest speakers from their community of employer partners and a festive quiz with prizes to be won.

Jess Widdowson, Enterprise Team Leader at Barnsley College said:

“This annual event is hotly anticipated by our Talent United partners and, although we have had to move it online due to the pandemic, we are aiming to make it just as much fun as usual.

“There is no limit on the number of guests we can welcome this year and as usual, everyone is welcome whether they are already a Talent United partner or not. The event is a great opportunity for us to come together and thank our partners, to celebrate the success and growth of the Talent United community in 2020 and to share our plans for the year ahead.”

During the event the Talent United team will be introducing the Talent United employer engagement initiative from Barnsley College, and explaining how organisations can get involved in bridging the gap between education and employment.
