Special lockdown project for College jazz band

Members of Gower College Swansea’s Jazz Band, past and present, have collaborated on a special project during lockdown.

The Locked Down Chicken project is a performance of The Chicken, a well-known track by American musician Jaco Pastorius.

“This collaboration took about a month and a half to put together, with everyone performing individually and at home, and I’m really pleased with how it turned out,” says lecturer Simon Prothero. “The students worked so hard to perform and film their contributions – it was a fantastic project to work on whilst we are unable to perform together in person”.
