Helen Armitage – A Senior Employability Adviser for the College of Social Sciences and Arts at Sheffield Hallam University. Helen leads on the Hallam Career Mentoring Scheme and primarily supports the department of Art and Design with in-curriculum careers delivery.
Chris Webb – An Employability Adviser at Sheffield Hallam University, Chris supports the Gradvantage programme for final year students and graduates, as well as collaborating with the College of Business, Technology and Engineering on in-curriculum careers delivery.

Professor Sir Chris Husbands MA PhD PGCE – Professor Sir Chris Husbands is a university leader, academic, educationist and public servant. He has served as Vice-Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University since January 2016. A Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, he has undertaken senior roles in universities for over fifteen years, as Head of the Institute of Education at Warwick University (2000-3), as Dean of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of East Anglia (2003-7), as Dean of Faculty and then Director of the Institute of Education (2007-15) and as Vice-Provost at University College London (2014-15). In 2018, Sir Chris was awarded a knighthood in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to higher education.
Sarthak Mondal – Sarthak is a final year student of BSc (Hon) Sport Business Management in Sheffield Hallam University. He has worked across multiple roles on campus over the last 3 years and has a keen interest in building a career within academia.
Joshua Sutton – Josh is a final year BSc (Hons) Business & ICT student. Josh undertook a 12 month placement at an industrial hygiene company, Schulke & Mayr UK. He has also worked for the Development & Alumni Relations Office for 4 years, including as a student caller on the Hallam Fund Telephone Campaign.
Polly Leeman – Polly is a final year BA (Hons) Product & Furniture Design student. Polly carried out a sandwich year industry placement at Ocee Design in Northampton and has continued to work within a Product & Interior Design Support role throughout her final year.
Fiona McNaught – Fiona is a final year MEng Mechanical Engineering student at Sheffield Hallam University. Fiona has a keen interest in all aspects of engineering and as part of her studies completed a year in industry working at Bosch Thermotechnology.
