Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a strategic and delivery focused Facilities Manager to be responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery to curriculum departments and students across STCG sites. You will be directly responsible for the overall operational management of two campuses and their infrastructure, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Supporting the Head of and Director of Facilities in the strategic and operational delivery of all Facilities Management estates and services provision, you will lead and co-ordinate College projects and initiatives as required by the Department and Group Leadership Team. You will lead on health and safety compliance at your assigned college, represent the department in local health and safety committee meetings with the Curriculum Management Team (CMT) and union members and be responsible for the financial management and delivery of capital projects supported by the Head of FM.
We’d like you to be experienced in the delivery of all Facilities Management services with high levels of customer satisfaction. You’ll have a successful record of managing a team in a facilities environment with experience and effective use of a computerised Helpdesk system.
You’ll hold an appropriate level 3 qualification in Facilities Management (or related field) and hold a level 3 qualification in Health and Safety.
With working knowledge of health and safety management and the application to Facilities Management activities, you’ll have thorough knowledge of building constructions, building services, systems and plant, including Building Management Systems. You’ll have highly developed communication, interpersonal and prioritisation skills, able to coach and give advice reports on the delivery of facilities services.
