We are recruiting for an exciting EPAO / End Point Assessment Organisation that is entering its next phase of growth and they are looking for a Business Development Manager. You will be pivotal in their growth as they increase market share and support more Apprenticeship Providers with their End Point Assessment. Our client has been approved my Ofqual has a clear vision, strategy and have a great senior leadership team.
As an EPA Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and driving new business opportunities. You will prospect for and qualify new customers, negotiate contracts, and build and maintain strong client relationships to support the ongoing growth of their End Point Assessment Organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping environmental organisations achieve their goals through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
– Identify and qualify new business opportunities by conducting targeted prospecting
– Perform needs analysis and proposal development to demonstrate how our services address customers’ requirements
– Maintain a pipeline of qualified partnership opportunities and consistently achieve/exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
– Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and recurring business
– Remain current on industry trends, market changes, and competitive offerings to advise clients proactively
– Participate in conferences and associations to generate leads and raise the company profile within the sector
– Provide periodic performance reports with activity updates, sales forecasts, and suggestions to leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications
– Business Development experience within Skills, ideally EPA, AO or Apprenticehips
– Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing a high-volume deal pipeline
– Strong negotiation and relationship building skills with the ability to consult with all level stakeholders
– Self-motivated with the ability to identify opportunities independently and push deals over the finish line
– Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders
– Experience using a CRM system to track opportunities and automated workflow preferred
– Willingness to travel periodically as business development activities require in-person engagement
