Job Title: Childcare Assessor / Trainer
Location: Shropshire – Online/Face to Face Classroom based delivery
Salary: up to £30,000 (Depending on skills and experience) + Excellent Benefits Package
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
– Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
– Hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET etc.)
– Must have experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare and/or Early Years Childcare.
– Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency as within Residential Childcare and/or Early Years.
– Must hold a Level 3 in Childcare (Residential / Early Years).
– Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
– Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Apprenticeships in Early Years Childcare and/or Residential Childcare (depending on competency).
– Plan and deliver engaging sessions both online and face to face with learners.
– Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
