Job Title: Project Management / Leadership & Management Assessor Trainer
Location: Ideally based in South / West Wales (Home/Field based – Candidates must be flexible with travel)
Salary: up to £30,500 (dependent on qualifications and experience) + Benefits and expenses
Type: Full Time / Permanent
Essentials Criteria:
– Hold or willing to work towards an Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
– Must hold solid occupational competency in Project Management – min 3 years proven experience of managing projects.
– Ideally hold Project Management related qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or similar Project Management qualification
– Hold Management qualification at Level 5 / or equivalent management competency.
– Ideally have experience of Assessing Project Management AND/OR Management level 5 Apprenticeships
– Must be confident with Maths, English and IT skills
– Excellent communication skills (Welsh speaker desirable)
Duties:
– Train, assess and deliver Apprenticeship in Project Management Level 3 and 4 and Leadership & Management Levels 4 and 5.
– Support learners to achieve the Essential Skills in Digital Literacy and Numeracy.
– Lead informal discussions and exploration of latest trends and sharing experiences.
– Manage a caseload of learners supporting them online and in person throughout their Apprenticeship, through to end-point assessment.
– Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
– Work to learner review and completion timescales.
