Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Salary: Points 23 – 37: £26,393 – £39,819 pro rata per annum

Plus the opportunity to do extra hours as an hourly paid part time lecturer which attracts Band B rate of pay for FE and Band C rate of pay for HE.

Band B: £21.70 per hour plus £5.17 holiday pay

Band C: £27.03 per hour plus £6.44 holiday pay

The Role

As a lecturer you will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to the growth and development of the Sport Public Services programmes within the Technical Centre. This includes focusing on retention, achievement and student success alongside pastoral support, curriculum design/development and ensuring a high standard of quality provision is offered. You will also fill the role of course leader.

What we are looking for

You should hold a Level 4 or equivalent in industry relevant qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to complete within 2 years of employment). You should have current industrial experience in an appropriate discipline and/or up to date knowledge of current industrial practice. Experience of teaching a wide range of levels evidenced by high achievement rates is desirable.
