Job Title: Construction Tutor (CSCS)
Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across the East Midlands and surrounding areas
Salary: up to £42,000 (Depending on experience + inclusive of car allowance)
Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Duties:
– Work in conjunction with the delivery team, to create individual support plans and oversee the Construction curriculum.
– Provide advice and support to the onsite delivery teams.
– Responsible for the implementation of engaging and motivational teaching, delivered 1-1 or in a small group.
– Provide learning support for the duration of the accredited learning programmes, leading to employability outcomes.
– Maintain learner progress records, including the monitoring and reviewing of Learning Support Plans.
Criteria:
– Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g. AET/PTLLS/PGCE).
– Must be CSCS qualified and hold a recognised qualification within a Construction trade.
– Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g. Plastering, Paint, Brickwork).
– Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
– Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.
