Our client, a family-owned organization with over 37 years of experience, is looking for dedicated Vocational Tutors to deliver Level 1 introductory courses in Hospitality and Catering within a prison environment. Position Details:
Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week with a flexible working pattern.
Flexible Arrangements: Part-time, job-share, and associate arrangements will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Quality Teaching: Deliver engaging, non-accredited courses to adult learners.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to and adapt the curriculum to meet learner needs.
Learner Support: Help learners develop essential skills in English, maths, citizenship, and more.
Inspire Participation: Encourage high levels of participation and attendance.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate learner records.
Industry Insight: Bring topics to life with your industry knowledge.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction rates.
Qualifications:
Teaching Qualification: Desirable but not essential.
Assessor Qualification: Desirable but not essential.
Vocational Experience: 3+ years in a Hospitality or Warehouse setting.
Personal Qualities: Resilient, independent, and learner-focused.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized and reliable.
IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
Team Player: Values trust, honesty, integrity, and inclusivity.
