As a Business Development Manager your role will be to source and support learners in their education, training, or employment within IT, focusing on the Level 3 Cyber Bootcamp. This includes helping learners secure guaranteed job interviews or apprenticeship opportunities by engaging employers, organizing job interviews, and conducting outreach activities in the West Midlands to recruit learners.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Engage local employers to upskill their workforce via the funded boot camp course.
Source and provide sustainable employment vacancies for learners, meeting or exceeding performance targets within IT and Cyber Security.
Develop and maintain an employer database, ensuring accurate and regularly updated records.
Analyze the labor market and provide relevant feedback to develop robust action plans with the appropriate staff.
Proactively communicate and promote opportunities to ensure all team members and managers meet employer and learner expectations.
Identify and promote employer-led recruitment solutions, ensuring effective account management to build and maintain long-term relationships.
Attend recruitment, employment, and information events.
Assist with gathering evidence of employment and other positive outcomes promptly.
Help learners gain entry to employment or apprenticeships according to their needs, abilities, and aspirations through appropriate diagnostic processes and assessments.
Work with employers and training providers, including apprenticeship providers, to identify suitable learners for available provisions and secure job opportunities in the Digital Sector.
Input data and maintain accurate records to demonstrate contributions to individual learners’ progress, utilizing appropriate computerized systems and keeping hard copies as necessary.
Deliver and develop career education/personal development programs that meet local needs.
Present to various groups on IT employment, training, and career guidance.
Provide individual advice, information, training, and detailed assessment and career guidance to learners.
Offer information on opportunities in written and electronic forms.
Stay current with developments in vocational, educational, and training issues within the IT sector to provide relevant education, training, job opportunities, and CEIAG to all learners.
Achieve KPI targets assigned to this role.

Requirements:

Expertise in conducting CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance) interviews
Previously worked within IT or cyber recruitment or Business Development.
Proficiency in IT systems, including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, and database packages, preferably Microsoft-based

Desirable:

Ability to speak one or more community languages.
Experience in the IT sector or IT recruitment.
Proven record of recruiting for education and training programs.
Experience with current IT education/employment/training/career developments.
Strong apprenticeship connections.
