October 10 @ 10:00 am 4:00 pm

Bridging Policy and Pedagogy: Preparing Educators and Leaders for a Stronger Skills System.

Education and Training Foundation (ETF) and FE News are working together in partnership to invite you to join us for a new FE and Skills Collective.

We have a new Government, who are all about Change! We have a new focus on Skills and a new Skills system on the way. This sounds exciting, but how do we ensure we equip our leaders and educators to deliver these changes?

Working in partnership, ETF and FE News are organising, “Bridging Policy and Pedagogy: Preparing Educators and Leaders for a Stronger Skills System.”, an event to prepare us for the upcoming changes.

This event is for Educators, Leaders, Researchers and Policy Makers. This is not a passive chalk and talk event, but one where your voice and opinion matter. You will get to roll up your sleeves and be fully involved on the day, helping to shape a report to assist the sector in responding to the changes in our Skills system.

The format of the day is a knowledge exchange and ‘scene setting’ in the morning, followed by a collaborative afternoon of collective intelligence gathering. Educators and leaders will work in groups to share ideas and make recommendations for the report.

This event is designed to help everyone in the FE and Skills sector. Attendees will include representatives from Further Education, Skills, Apprenticeships (FE colleges and Independent Training Providers), Work Based Learning, Lifelong Learning, Prison Education, the Work Based Learning side of Higher Education, Employer Providers, and Awarding Organisations. Together, we will explore how we can develop our workforce to deliver the new Skills system.

This is a flipped conference, where we get to exchange ideas and knowledge, while also developing an impactful report. The aim is to bring the sector together and equip the entire FE and Skills sector for the changes that are coming and happening quickly.

This event is open to a maximum of 100 people.

Join us on the 10th of October in Birmingham and help us support the entire Skills sector through these rapidly approaching changes.

Help shape the report and guide how the sector reacts and prepares for the evolving Skills system.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping our collective response and delivery of our new skills system.

Secure your spot now for this exclusive, limited-capacity event. Together, we’ll forge a path forward in this exciting new era of skills development!
