Identifying Tendering Opportunities and Selecting the Right Tenders to Go For

Overview

The beginning of July saw the election of a new Government, following an extended pre-election period. The new Government have a range of plans within their manifesto that will lead to bidding opportunities. This means that providers will need to be proficient in identifying these new (and existing) opportunities and be able to put processes/systems in place, to ensure the right opportunities are bid for and won.

The webinar will deliver the knowledge to do this and provide practical hints and tips based on industry best practice.

Objectives

This webinar will help delegates to understand how to:

  • Use a range of tools to identify tender opportunities;
  • Create a ‘bid-no bid matrix’;
  • Put in place an effective bid sign off process;
  • Avoid the ‘pitfalls’ of tendering for the wrong opportunities;
  • Design of bid plan;
  • ‘Break the white page’, which will enable tenders to be completed in a timely manner.

Who should attend

All providers with limited experience of tendering for new business (Independent and/or College) and want to know more to start being successful.

Those within each organisation who have recently been tasked with completing tendering/new contract acquisition activity, likely to be:

  • New Proposal Writers;
  • New Sales Managers;
  • Stakeholder Manager;
  • Those in business development support roles i.e. Business Development co-ordinators.
