As the Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering the operational strategies and ensuring the seamless execution of our diverse programmes. You will be the driving force behind their commitment to performance excellence, operational efficiency, and the continuous improvement of services. Your leadership will be crucial in maximising the impact of their initiatives and supporting the mission to enhance employability and social reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organisation’s mission and goals. Lead the execution of the Restart Programme, Multiply Programme, and Justice Programme to achieve targeted outcomes.
Performance Management: Drive a culture of performance excellence by setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure all programmes meet or exceed contractual and organisational targets.
Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality across all programmes. Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to optimise processes.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team. Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and community organisations. Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and events.
Financial Oversight: Manage operational budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability. Identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimisation.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure programme continuity and resilience.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in a senior operations role within the Employability sector.
Demonstrated success in leading and managing large-scale programmes with a focus on performance and impact.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex and dynamic environments.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
Commitment to the mission of enhancing employability and social reintegration.
