We’re seeking Vocational Tutors to deliver Level 1 introductory courses in Hospitality and Catering within a prison environment. This role may occasionally require travel to multiple sites and visits to the Head Office as needed. The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern. Part-time, job-share, and associate arrangements will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, non-accredited teaching to adult learners
Contribute to and adapt curriculum development
Support learner development in English, maths, citizenship, etc.
Inspire high participation and attendance
Maintain learner records
Bring topics to life with industry knowledge
Work with stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction rates
Qualifications:
Teaching qualification (Desirable)
Assessor qualification (Desirable)
3 + Vocational occupancy in a Hospitality or warehouse setting
Resilient, independent, and learner-focused
Highly organized and reliable
Strong IT skills (MS packages, CRM systems)
Team player with values of trust, honesty, integrity, and inclusivity
