How to Write a Highly Effective Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan

Event Series Event Series (See All)

August 20 @ 9:30 am 12:30 pm

Overview

The summer is the time when most providers who self-assess their provision based on the contract or academic year should be turning their attention to writing their self-assessment report (SAR) for the year just finished and developing their quality improvement plan (QIP) for the year ahead.

This in depth session will tell you what you might want to consider when evaluating your provision through self-assessment and quality improvement planning based on the Education Inspection Framework (EIF).

Richard will discuss the inspection context in which you should now self-assess, the common pitfalls when self-assessing and writing quality improvement plans and tell you what to make sure you include in the sections you write on each of the Key Judgements in the EIF.

  • The inspection context in which you should now self-assess;
  • The most common faults when writing self-assessment reports;
  • The most important considerations in your self-assessment process;
  • The key components of writing effective and meaningful judgements for your self-assessment report;
  • What to make sure you include in your sections on ‘Key Judgements’ under the EIF;
