Forging Sustainable Leadership: Henley Business School’s Leadership Impact Festival 2024

The Henley Centre for Leadership’s (HCfL) Leadership Impact Festival returns this year with a renewed commitment to fostering sustainable leadership practices during challenging times. Taking place on 6th June 2024 at Henley Business School’s Greenlands campus, this immersive event promises to be a melting pot of insights, ideas and collaboration aimed at shaping a brighter future for businesses and society. 

Under the theme “Leading Sustainably in Stormy Weather,” the festival aims to address the complex challenges faced by leaders in today’s rapidly changing environment. The event will bring together business leaders, practitioners, alumni, and researchers to explore innovative approaches to leadership. With its inclusive approach and forward-thinking agenda, the Leadership Impact Festival 2024 promises to be a transformative experience for leaders across industries and sectors.  

“At Henley, we believe in the power of diverse voices coming together to tackle the most pressing challenges of our time,” says Professor Bernd Vogel, Professor in Leadership and Founding Director of HCfL. “In an era marked by uncertainty and volatility, it’s crucial for leaders to be able to navigate stormy weather while confronting the dual imperatives of performance and sustainability.” 

A diverse range of contributors will speak at the Leadership Impact Festival: 

-Phillipine Mtikitiki, Vice President Operations Italy and Albania Coca Cola. 

-Jenny Gardner, Senior Director, Future Capabilities, Innovation Strategy and Portfolio at Saab Defense and Space Manufacturing. 

-Frank Kellenberg, Vice President and Global Head of Culture & Inclusion at Sandoz 

-Jamie Crummie, Co-Founder, Too Good To Go. 

-Professor Toki Wright, Chair of Berklee’s Professional Music Department & MC. 

Engaging attendees in interactive discussions and workshops, the Festival aims to foster a collaborative environment where participants can share insights, learn from one another and co-create tangible solutions for today’s leadership challenges. 

The Festival programme will feature a wide range of topics, including: 

-Leadership for thriving and performing individuals, businesses and society. 

-Harnessing the potential of technology like AI for sustainable leadership. 

-Addressing the climate emergency through effective organisational leadership. 

-Promoting equity, diversity, equality and inclusion in the face of commercial pressures.
