Overview
The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 is becoming a more and more important component in Governmental tenders.
The Act calls for all public sector commissioning to factor in economic, social and environmental well-being in connection with public services contracts. This means there is a requirement that all public bodies in England and Wales, including Local Authorities, and NHS organisations, consider how the services they commission and procure might improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the area they are delivered in.
This webinar will explore the background to the act and provide practical hints and tips on how to respond to questions within tenders aligned to the Act.
