Global Knowledge wins CompTIA Delivery Partner of the Year Award

CompTIA, the leading trade association for the global technology industry, announced its annual partner awards yesterday as part of the 2019 CompTIA EMEA Member and Partner Conference. Recognising the partners who make a big impact in the effort to transform tech talent and support the tech industry, Global Knowledge was singled out as Delivery Partner of the Year for its efforts in learning innovation and certification

In addition, Global Knowledge Apprenticeships was Runner Up for the Apprenticeship Partner Rising Star Award.

Melanie Jones, Cybersecurity Product Director at Global Knowledge, was on hand to accept the awards.  ‘We share CompTIA’s mission to improve the skills of the IT community; support those who wish to enter the industry and help reduce the skills gap that continues to grow,’ she said. ‘Our research shows that 80% of IT Decision makers report a rise in skills gaps for the third straight year. We are working hard to help reduce that gap. We’re grateful of CompTIA’s recognition of our work and happy to be part of CompTIA’s partner community.”

Marie Cronin, Senior Manager Skills Certification at CompTIA remarked: “The CompTIA partner awards have gone from strength to strength and it is encouraging to see such growth and competition amongst partners across the EMEA region. I am thrilled that this year Global Knowledge were successful in two categories, which is a testament to the hard work they put into providing learners with a robust and relevant curriculum that prepares them for the thriving career opportunities in IT.”

Glyn Roberts, Managing Director of Global Knowledge commented: “Technology advances mean there is a constant pressure to keep skills up to date. However, technology also provides us with more ways to focus on learner preference, adopt asynchronous learning and improve career-enhancing programmes, such as apprenticeships, to help prepare the IT workforce for what lies ahead. These awards are welcome testament to our work internationally as part of CompTIA’s partner programme.’
