Futures for Business and Dalmatian Jobs Fair is a Success in Mansfield

A jobs fair, held at the Futures Centre in Mansfield, and in collaboration with Dalmatian job and careers service, has been a huge success.

Wednesday 4^th September saw the centre, on West Gate, open its doors to 18 employers and over 50 individuals looking for work and advice.

Feedback collected on the day showed that 100% of respondents said they were ‘satisfied’ or ‘very satisfied’ with the support and activities on offer that day. The majority of businesses in attendance, which included the Army and Mansfield District Council, said they would recommend the event to other businesses.

“Dalmatian was delighted to a part of Futures for Business Job Show. It was a chance for us to engage with people who were taking their first steps on the career ladder or who were simply ready for a new challenge and needed help putting together a CV. Events like this are so important for businesses and job seekers as it’s a chance to showcase the opportunities available within our community and for employers to meet face to face with potential employers.” Katie Trinder, Managing Director, Dalmation.

Futures will be holding a second job fair event at The Hub on Friar Lane in Nottingham on Wednesday 18^th September, where you can find out about local jobs and apprenticeships, meet employers and receive advice and guidance on all things careers, including CV writing, interview techniques and skills.
