Futures Expands Impact on Careers Professionals
It’s really important to us to support those working in Careers Guidance with the opportunities to go further.
It’s important to us because these people have an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of the people they work with, and we want to make sure they’re doing it to the highest standard. That’s why for over 7 years we’ve been running The Futures Professional Development Centre, delivering Information, Advice and Guidance qualifications and Continuing Professional Development to Careers Leaders and professionals in the sector.
Our courses are available to anyone who provides careers advice and guidance in a professional or voluntary role. You could be working in careers guidance in a school, college or university as well as in a human resources setting. We’ve recently been delivering courses in Manchester, Birmingham, Durham, London and Nottingham, and are now very excited to have been awarded a bid to deliver to schools in the Bedford Borough area.
“As a provider of the National Careers Service in the Bedford area already it’s great to have the opportunity to extend our links further. We’ll be delivering both Level 4 and Level 6 Diplomas from September, and are looking forward to working with Bedford Borough Council to support careers professionals across the county.” Liz Walters, Professional Development Manager at Futures
Futures is one of the 14 National Providers who have been awarded the opportunity to deliver Careers Leadership Training under the Careers and Enterprise Company Careers Leaders bursary offer.
We’re accredited by the Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) to deliver Careers Leadership Training nationally.
