From education to employment

Institute of Student Employers opens membership to schools

Stephen Isherwood, Chief Executive of the ISE

Institute of Student Employers (ISE) is inviting schools to join its early careers community.

ISE will be the only industry body to represent and connect employers, schools, universities and colleges as well as organisations that support the student recruitment and development industry.

School members will benefit from opportunities to network and develop relationships with more than 300 top employers who hire tens of thousands of interns, apprentices and graduates each year.

Employer members will also benefit, gaining better insight and connections with schools to inform their recruitment strategies and attract students to their school leaver programmes.

Stephen Isherwood, Chief Executive of the ISE explains:

“This is the perfect time to welcome schools to our community. While they want closer links to industry, employers are forging relationships much earlier than university to support their apprenticeship and school leaver programmes.

“ISE will bridge the gap between schools and business, improving the opportunities for them to meet, network and learn from each other. Everyone benefits, including the students themselves, who will gain insight to what employers want and the wide range of career options open to them.”
