Overview
The restrictions implemented for Covid forced a shift in opportunities to engage with learners in the traditional face-to-face manner and this has now become part of the mainstream offer for many providers but has raised additional challenges for educators who do not feel that they have the knowledge and skills required to effectively deliver English online.
This webinar will explore different approaches and strategies that can be easily implemented to engage learners with English in a meaningful way, monitor progress and provide a well-rounded level of skill development.
Objectives
This webinar will discuss:
- Individualised planning for English skill development
- Integrating English effectively
- Engaging learners with English
- Developing learner independence
- Next steps.
Who should attend this webinar
All providers offering apprenticeships or stand-alone English qualifications, at all levels, utilising an on-line platform for full or partial delivery of content that have identified that this is an area for development within their provision.
This webinar is relevant for all delivery staff, including vocational educators, involved in supporting learners on all programmes via on-line platforms such as Teams or Zoom; and managers who want to improve the standard of end-to-end delivery for English, through on-line platforms.
