The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) highest ranked creative specialist in the country
The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) has been ranked in 13th position in the Guardian University Guide’s 2020 league table, becoming the highest ranked creative specialist in the country.
This makes UCA the top creative specialist in all three major domestic league tables simultaneously for the first time: the Guardian University Guide, Complete University Guide, and The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide. On top of this, UCA occupies its highest position ever in all three tables.
This tremendous performance in the Guardian league table was underpinned by high student satisfaction rates, along with a significant growth in the university’s graduate employment rate.
UCA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bashir Makhoul, said:
“It is spectacular news that UCA has been ranked in 13th place by the Guardian University Guide. This result joins those in the Complete University Guide and the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide in positioning UCA as the top specialist university in the country for studying creative arts, business and technology.
“This news is a testament to the incredible teaching staff, the research in their creative fields, and the close relationship we have with the creative industries”.
This news also comes on the back of The Sunday Times recently naming UCA as its 2019 Modern University of the Year.
UCA has campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham and Rochester and offers a range of programmes spanning the creative arts, business and technology.
