Student Loans Company gains international Investors in People accreditation

The Student Loans Company (SLC) is celebrating obtaining Silver Standard accreditation status from Investors In People (IIP) for its ongoing commitment to supporting, developing and empowering its staff.

The company, which employs 3300 people across five offices in Glasgow, Darlington and Llandudno Junction, achieved Silver IIP Standard after being assessed against a number of themes and indicators relating to people management and staff development.  Assessment was was carried out through a combination of surveys, interviews, meetings and observations across each the company’s sites.

IIP is the UK’s leading accreditation provider for improving businesses through good people management, with over 14,000 organisations in 75 countries across the world choosing to pursuing their Standards.
