Brooklands College Secures Matrix Accreditation
Brooklands College has been awarded Matrix accreditation in recognition of the high standard of advice and support services provided to its students.
Matrix is the unique quality benchmark used to assess an organisation’s advice and support services by way of encouraging individuals to progress with achieving their chosen career, learning and life goals.
Assessed against rigorous criteria, the Matrix assessor highlighted the team of skilled practitioners covering careers advice and work experience placements, who demonstrated good ethics and values.
Christine Ricketts, Deputy Principal at Brooklands College, commented: “I am very pleased to announce that we have been approved for Matrix accreditation for Information, Advice and Guidance services (ALS, Admissions, Careers and Apprenticeships).”
She added: “I would like to thank staff for their enthusiasm, commitment and support in the Matrix accreditation assessment this week. When the assessor spoke to our partner schools, they were very complimentary about the College and in particular for Schools Liaison. The assessor recognised the strong leadership in our ALS and SEND provision.”
The Matrix accreditation awarded to Brooklands College is the latest recognition received by the College following a ‘Good’ rating in an Ofsted inspection, in November 2017.
