Changing Perceptions Of Vocational Qualifications
Ofqual has commissioned Pye Tait Consulting to find out what providers, learners, and employers think about vocational and technical qualifications. The research is part of a study which tracks views and perceptions, with the findings from the first wave of research being published by Ofqual in September 2018.
The second wave of the research is currently underway, involving a telephone survey of 2,000 employers, and online surveys of 500 learning providers and 500 learners.
Don’t miss your opportunity to get involved!
We invite all types of learning providers to take part via a short online survey (5-7 minutes to complete), which can be accessed here. More than one person in each organisation can complete the survey.
In addition, we’d be very grateful if providers encourage their learners to take part in their own survey (5 minutes to complete), which can be accessed here.
The deadline for responses to both surveys is Friday 15th February 2019.
The results will be compared with the findings from last year’s surveys to see how perceptions of functional skills, other vocational and technical qualifications (VTQs) and end-point assessments (EPAs) might have changed. If you have any queries about the research, please contact Clare Vokes at Pye Tait Consulting on 01423 509433.
