Double Gold for British Taekwondo Champion Katie Eley
NPTC Group of Colleges’ Sport student Katie Eley scooped an impressive double gold medal haul at last weekend’s British Taekwondo Championships in Sheffield.
Katie, who is studying BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport (Performance & Excellence), won gold in both the Junior 59kg and Senior 57kg categories in the same day at the English Institute of Sport, pausing only for a quick lunch and rest between the preliminary rounds and her two finals!
