Imperial adds Master’s in International Management to its MSc portfolio
Imperial College Business School has added an MSc in International Management to its Management Master’s portfolio to better cater to the demands of students looking to accelerate their careers in international business.
Launching in September 2019, the Masters in International Management has been designed to better reflect the demands of the modern global business environment.
The programme is Imperial’s most internationally-focused business Master’s programme to date and will equip top business graduates with advanced and innovative leadership skills by incorporating a number of features that will prepare graduates for the future workplace and create a more enhanced global study experience.
The programme’s features include:
- A year-long ‘Leadership in Action’ international business project to develop leadership skills in a real-life consulting environment. Students will be coached and mentored throughout the project by faculty, in order to learn international management skills in a fully immersive and practical way.
- A Global Immersion week, which provides students with the opportunity to experience first-hand the social and cultural dynamics of working in another country. The week-long trip will consist of visits to local companies operating across a range of industry sectors, as well as social and cultural activities.
- The opportunity to study abroad to further develop students’ international experience at one of Imperial’s top partner institutions, including the Chinese University of Hong Kong, HEC Paris and University of Texas at Austin.
- A greater emphasis on technology and analytics, with digital innovation embedded throughout the programme including core modules in Decision Analytics and Innovation and Technology Strategy.
- A reduction in core modules and an increased number of electives to allow students to better tailor their studies to their own individual needs.
- A careers module that supports students in defining their own career goals and equips them with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in the future.
