Creative students at the top of their game

Creative studies students at Clarendon Sixth Form College have won one overall competition prize and three individual category prizes in the Greater Manchester College’s Group (GMCG) skills competitions.

Graphic design, creative media and games design students took the overall prize in the digital media competition, winning in the media skills and games design categories.

Alongside this, art and design students won in the level two category (in the art and design competition).

This year over 1,000 students from the ten Greater Manchester FE colleges took part, competing against one another in subject categories. The competitions include a range of activities based around their chosen course, from designing an advert to creating a dessert. This year the digital media and art and design competitions were hosted at Hopwood Hall College and Stockport College respectively.
