Jake is tipped for success at Cambridge

Jake Armstrong, a student at Clarendon Sixth Form College is celebrating an offer of a place at Cambridge University.

Jake who studies maths, further maths and physics A-level, has been given a provisional offer by the pretigious university after impressing staff during various stages of the application process including: mock interviews, entrance exam preparation and a personal statement.

Jake has accepted a conditional offer of a place to study natural sciences, with a focus on physics at Homerton College.

Cambridge University is one of the world’s top universities. Founded in 1209 its alumni include prime ministers, scientists, Nobel laureates, lawyers and many more.

Jake said: “I’m really glad to have been offered the place and excited to go to such a prestigious university. I’m nervous about making sure I get the right grades but I am confident I can do it and I can’t wait to start a new adventure.”
