AutoRaise are committed to celebrate and enable both female apprentices and leaders on International Women’s Day
For more than a century, the 8th of March is set aside annually to commemorate International Women’s Day; this year’s theme is ‘#BreakTheBias’
AutoRaise are committed to celebrate and enable both female apprentices and leaders in our industry on International Women’s Day which promotes positive change by raising awareness about problems women face in their everyday lives. It is also a chance to celebrate the achievements of women, and this is something that we will be highlighting. We can all break the bias and forge women’s equality within our industry.
Dave Sargeant, AutoRaise Chairman states,
“Accepting that women may suffer difficulties in the workplace is no longer acceptable in 2022. We all play a role in helping women’s success, which is why Gemini employs female apprentices who we hope will pave the way for other women to enter the business.”
Steve Thompson echoed Dave’s sentiments by saying,
“It is vital to develop an environment that promotes inclusion and accelerates diversity in the workplace. Developing and enabling women to join our industry is not only the correct thing to do, but it is also critical to our industry’s success.”
Throughout the day, we will celebrate women, highlight their great contribution to our industry, and recognize their resilience. We will explore how gender expectations can significantly limit our children’s career choices, but how many have broken the bias and gone on to have very successful careers and apprenticeships.
We hope they will inspire the future generation to consider joining this industry, we need more women!
