Brooklands College Strikes Gold at the Apprenticeship 4 England Award Ceremony

Representing the apprenticeship provision at Brooklands College Anita Winter and Naomi Abbott attended the annual Apprenticeship 4 England, Apprenticeship Awards 2017 night on Tuesday evening and came home clutching the gold award for Apprenticeship Employer Award for College Apprenticeship Provision.

The evening held at The Grange Tower Bridge Hotel and hosted by ex-England and Chelsea football player Paul Elliott CBE was a glittering evening of celebration of excellence in Apprenticeship Delivery. The ceremony is held annually to showcase and celebrate the achievements of those who have exceeded expectations and have shown a dynamic approach to training, demonstrated initiative and enterprise, innovation and creativity, and shown an understanding of, and commitment to the improvement of quality & skills development in the delivery of Apprenticeships.

Anita Winter, Apprenticeship Manager at the college commented ‘We were so proud to have won first prize in our category at a national awards ceremony like this. It’s great to be recognised for all the hard work the team at Brooklands College put in to make our apprenticeship provision so successful’.

Brooklands College, ranked in the top 10% of colleges nationwide for success rates in apprenticeships, is holding a number of events during apprenticeship week this week to highlight the benefits and opportunities apprenticeships can bring to individuals and for those looking to employ an apprentice.
