12 new Tuition Providers have successfully joined the National Tutoring Programme Programme (NTP), increasing the tuition support available to schools across the country, particularly strengthening areas with previously lower capacity such as the North East and South West. It brings the total number of Tuition Providers on the programme to 53 to support Academic Year 2021/22.

The new Tuition Providers have successfully passed the robust quality, safeguarding and evaluation standards to be officially accepted onto the NTP framework to support state-funded schools across England. Tuition Partners provide targeted support to pupils aged 5-16 through small groups or one-to-one sessions. Pupils can access multiple 15-hour packages of tuition if they need support in more than one subject.

Karen Guthrie, NTP Programme Director, commented:

“We are very pleased to welcome 12 more accredited Tuition Partners onto the NTP, joining the 41 Tuition Providers who joined during the first round of our Open Access Scheme. Schools have already shared with us how much their pupils are benefiting from tutoring and they now have more choice and flexibility and access to a range of vast expertise and experience from our expanded group of Tuition Providers. We are looking forward to welcoming our new Tuition Partners and increasing the support available to schools to reach more pupils in need of support the most.”

The 12 new Tuition Partners will deliver quality tutoring on behalf of the NTP – additional Tuition Partners will be announced in the New Year.

Schools can access the NTP’s quality tutoring support by registering at https://nationaltutoring.org.uk/schools/register-your-school/
