TQUK and Udacity partner for first-of-its-kind AI qualification
Training Qualifications UK (TQUK) and talent transformation platform Udacity have partnered to revolutionise digital skills education in Britain
With fewer than half of British employers believing that young people have the digital knowledge needed to help businesses grow, skills in this area are at the forefront of the national agenda and urgent action is needed.
Responding to the shortfall, TQUK and Udacity’s partnership will introduce a new suite of qualifications designed to supercharge tech skills and push the country’s digital infrastructure forward.
The partnership gets underway with the TQUK Level 3 Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Programming with Python (RQF). Set for launch in early 2022, it is the first qualification of its kind in the UK and allows learners to develop job-ready skills with the Python programming language so they can transform their career immediately.
Used in a range of technical disciplines, including website and software development, data analysis and visualisation, and machine learning, Python is one of the tech industry’s most important programming languages. This course makes it accessible for anyone with basic computing skills to learn and understand, so they can kickstart an incredible career in tech.
TQUK Managing Director Andrew Walker said:
“TQUK has always been driven by a desire to look ahead, seek out society’s needs and provide a solution that not only meets but exceeds them.
“This partnership helps us do that. We can’t wait to launch the qualification and look forward to further developments in the future.
“This is just the beginning.”
“Udacity has the power to transform lives and catapult individuals into high-paying tech careers,” said Sam Schofield, Vice President, EMEA and APAC, Udacity.
“This initiative enables us to bring our talent transformation platform to organizations in the UK and create job-ready digital talent at scale.”
