Ofqual on assessing apprentices

Jeremy Benson, executive director for vocational qualifications and regulator Ofqual, talks to FE News about the assessment of apprentices.

He explains how Ofqual is currently looking at changing the assessment system as part of the Apprenticeship reforms.

“We’re also looking at function skills qualifications – we know that literacy and numeracy are an important part of the Apprenticeship system,” says Benson.
