Kirstie Donnelly on how to respond to FE budget cuts
Kirstie Donnelly, UK managing director for training body City & Guilds, gives FE News her views on the government’s recent FE budget cuts.
Speaking during the Voice of Apprenticeships conference in London, Donnelly said the cuts were disappointing but were also expected.
She talks about how the FE sector needs to come up with creative solutions to respond to the budget reductions, and find ways to work together as providers to continue delivering a high quality skills system. Donnelly also explains the importance of developing World Class education programmes which can then be exported across the Globe.
